Loud, Light, Low-Profile By delivering a powerful 140dB SPL peak output, while weighing in at only 72 pounds and standing 14.5” tall, the 7222WX represents the top of market with regards to output versus size/weight. Crisp Highs, Clean Mids A key feature of the SLICETM series is the use of a 2” Neodymium Mid/HF EXO driver. One driver, which excels at eliminating crossover and phase/time anomalies, reproduces all frequencies from critical vocal intelligibility range up through upper-harmonics and to top of the frequency band. This results in a clean, pure vocal and upper-mid response that sounds more natural than the traditional “PA sound” and cuts through better on a loud stage. Mixes never sound “crowded” or “muddy”. The 7222WX utilizes two high-output, high-efficiency neodymium 12” low-frequency drivers. Loaded in the solid 13-ply birch cabinet, the system is tuned to provide LF extension below 40Hz. SLICETM Series stage monitors are finished in 100% solid tour-grade DuracoatTM. This surface is highly abrasion resistant for rigorous touring applications. Units are wired for Biamp operation. Recommended amp and cabling configurations are available, as well as DSP processor settings for many commonly used system controllers.
