For WAVES Mass Notification Systems, the Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS-901) provides high-performance backup power for the IP Communicator (IPC) Ethernet devices and TRX-401 Field Transceivers. In the event of a power failure, the UPS-901 will automatically supply DC power to the IPC or TRX. In addition, external devices connected to the IPC and TRX 15V output will also receive power from the UPS-901. The UPS-901 will automatically transfer the load back to the utility power when the line voltage returns to normal.
